Stephen Slack, Strength and Conditioning Coach

As a collegiate football player and high school athlete, Stephen achieved numerous personal and team-oriented goals with the dream of playing professional football one day. However, after a shoulder injury ended his career, and stripped him of the identity that he had held on to for so long.   Stephen was faced with the biggest adversities of both his personal and professional career; self-doubt.  During his search to redefine himself, his thirst for knowledge led him to earn his personal training certificate from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and eventually a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science.  During his undergraduate academic career at DePaul University, Stephen focused on holistic and functional forms of strength training to promote wellness, longevity and vitality. His education led him to redefine himself and help others on similar paths of health and wellness.

In helping others, Stephen realized that his passion was not just exercise, or simply living a healthy life. But also guiding, coaching and educating others with unique attributes and limitations, on their own journeys to fitness and well-being. Stephen proves to be an extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic individual, who processes a passion for bringing a positive, mental and physical change to your life.
